―Description of michael in nextbots rng. |
michael is one of the various nextbots that hunts down players in nico's nextbots. He can be found in nn_poolrooms and arcade mode.
michael was added on March 3rd, 2023, within the Arcade Update.
Overview[]
Appearance[]
In the game, michael appears to look like a slender, freakishly tall creature that crawls on all fours like a spider. He appears to be a human that has claw-like hands, pale skin, no hair, and a red featureless mouth. He also has pointy toes on his feet and lacks ears. In his in-game animated image, he has red and black outlines around him. He doesn't have a visible nose, only red eyes and a malicious-looking smile. In his Killfeed/Admin Panel Icon, he appears to be a pixelated version of his image but he lacks his signature creepy smile.
As for his jumpscare image, he appears to take the same appearance as he does in the killfeed icon, with the only difference being that the image appears to be stretched. He appears to be floating in the air while crawling on the ground in his GIF.Origin[]
Image[]
The sprite sheet and GIF used for michael come from an indie horror game titled “Faith: The Unholy Trinity”. In the series, he's the secondary antagonist in Chapter I and makes cameos in later chapters. Possessed by a demon and chained in a basement for months, Michael is a teenage boy who escaped from captivity during an exorcism and lurks in the woodland, killing and eating the wildlife and whoever else he comes across. He particularly hates anybody who looks like a priest since his captor looked like one, which the series protagonist, John Ward, is unfortunate enough to come across during his journey since he's dressed like one for a different reason. Michael confuses John as his captor and attempts to tear his torso in half.
Michael's alias as "The Chupacabra" comes from a newspaper article where locals found a ran-over body that looked humanoid, yet animal-like. [1] His other alias, "Naked White Man", comes from a local named Cherise Wan, [2] who reported to a local newspaper saying she spotted what seemed to be a naked white man crawling on a decrepit road in the middle of the night.
Audio[]
michael's proximity audio is a compilation of his voice lines from the aforementioned game; these include: "FAAAATHERR...", "NOOOOOOO...", "RUN! RUN! RUN!", "SUFFERRRR..." and "YOU KNOW NOTHING!". The "music" that plays in the audio is the atmospheric music used in New Haven Apartment Complex in Chapter III. The jumpscare sound effect is the series' protagonist, John, saying "MORTIS" whenever he's killed.Gallery[]
Trivia[]
- "Mortis" means death in Latin. [3]
- In a video by Rogurt, Jasper said that they got permission from Airdorf (the creator of Faith: The Unholy Trinity) to add michael to nico's nextbots. [4]
